Is united Spas Inc. a good hot tub brand?

We are looking to buy a used tub, and we found this one on craigslist and it fits 8 people and we were wondering about the quality of it. What are things that i should watch and look for when buying a tub? Whats are good tub brands?

Make sure that all the pump(s), blowers, jets, and especially the HEATER  are functioning properly.  Ask if there has been service done to the spa if so what type of work.  Spas are wonderful but when something breaks it can get pretty expensive especially the heater.  I worked for  swimming pool/spa repair  for years and would frequently have customers calling complaining that their spas were not working and when given a quote to repair customers would more than likely end up paying more for the repair than the actual spa itself.  Just be careful.  I never heard of the brand you mentioned but just like cars there are quite a few out there.  Sundance and Dimension One spas are really great but can be costly even second hand.  Hope this helps.

United Spas Inc. does not make spas only the equipment for the spas,ie jets blowers motor.  My spa has the parts from United spas Inc.  They have a website with Manuel's wire diagram and more.  I don't know how good the are in general I just know that mine works pretty good.
