  1. And to add to the first answer, a solar eclipse only happens over a very thin path on the Earth’s surface, and lasts just a few minutes.  Locally, you will probably feel a chill while the sun is obscured, but it cannot make a whole region’s weather change.

    Like many questioners, this person needs to develop a perspective of the scale of things (and also learn the difference between a lunar and solar eclipse).


  2. No. The sun is not obscured during lunar eclipses - that's just when the moon passes into the Earth's shadow. It's not caused by solar eclipses either, because they happen all the time - there are several a year, though not all of them total eclipses.

  3. i'm not complaining, i haven't had to run the a/c for a while, now.
