Is urine a good way to take out cigarette smell?

I just rented a car with a cigarette smell punctuated by a unrine odor. Unfortunately, it was the last car in the lot. Is amonia (urine) ever used as a mask or deoderizer?

not too sure but amonia isnt urine. just smells the same. maybe they used something with amonia though. use baking soda on the floorboards and then clean regularly with whatever you choose. try woolite. or even pet stain remover.

For best results urine is best applied fresh to cigarette smoke as it's being produced.

no it enhances the smell and yeah ew.  try a box or two or three of baking soda, soda not powder, opened and left in the car for a couple of day. this will pull out the smells. also clean everything in there nicotine resedew will stick to everything and urine is probably from a pet in the back seat or mold in your air conditioner, clean clean clean. GL!
