  1. PEOPLE GET REAL. YOU LEARN SOMTHING BECAUSE YOU WANT TO NOT HAVE TO RIGHT? OR YOU WOULD JUST DROP OUT. A SCHOOL IS A SCHOOL THEY ONLY GIVE YOU BOOKS TO READ AND STUDY ITS UP TO YOU TO LEARN AND CHALLENGE YOURSELF. NO ONE WILL PUT THAT KNOWLEDGE IN YOUR HEAD BUTT YOU. SO STOP BITCHING ABOUT THE SCHOOLS AND GET TO LEARNING.

  2. IT SUCKS DONT DO IT DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT READ THE FINE PRINT IT THERE

SO IF UR THINKING ABOUT IT DONT LEARN FROM TH E MISTAKES OF OTHERS

IF U WANT A MEANINGLESS PIECE OF PAPER MAKE ONE URSELF AND SAVE URSELF A FEW BENGIES

  3. You know, reading all these opinions of Stratford Career Institute and hearing all the negative things in regards to them as being a "scam", I can say one thing, the majority of these people writing the reviews sound like they need to all go back to elementary school, never mind doing education online. The grammer is so not educatied in any form.  So maybe after you all graduate from 6th grade, maybe you'll figure out all this to do stuff with an online course. You can go to the most prestigious university the country has to offer and graduate with a masters degree and still NOT be able to obtain any position in the work force today. Get with the current times folks.

  4. Stratford is not a scam. Everyone thinks that because they got their diploma that they're automatically entitled to a job. If only that were true! People out there have bachelors and masters degrees and can't get a job in this economy. The point is that you are a getting an education of some kind...which is what Stratford provides. They are a real school with real books and tests. And the material is good!! You will learn something that you can apply in your job or have more knowledge for a new job or career. Getting an education is always a good idea.

  5. what? really seriously?
I was planning to get my Restuarant  Managament Diploma
Good thing I research in here first
where is Stratford Career Institute anyway?
I dont have any idea where is the place

  6. I called SCI, and the guy was real quick to tell me how much the monthly payment was, rather than listen to MY questions. I have read what people said about the great SCI, and Its way more negative, than positive. So I don't think I will be having anything to do with that great accreditational school, and would advise people to not be suckered in like I almost was.

  7. I enrolled in this school in May. I never received any supplies. I called them and explained that I was receiving bills but no books. It wasn't like the address was wrong, since I was getting everything from them but my supplies.

Another month goes by, and still no supplies. Again, I call. As usual takes HOURS of sitting on the phone to get someone. ALWAYS rude.

I kept trying to explain to them I wanted my money back. After many calls I finally had someone explain to me what I must do in order to do so. I faxed them a letter saying exactly what they told me to. I had to go through this process THREE times before I was acknowledged. They assured me I would get a check for the balance I had paid.

Today, I get a letter, stating that due to my lack of payment, I am being reported to a credit bureau, the letter told me I had until the date today to reply. Mind you, I received it today.

This will NOT be a bill I pay I can assure you. I never ONCE received anything but bills from them.

  8. no, they are not. I just recently checked BBB & Colorado Dept of Ed and both websites list them as accredited institution.

  9. is this shools a scam and accredited

  10. Stratford Career Institute is a complete SCAM!! I took their High School Diploma course and finished, got my "Diploma" and enrolled for Police Officer in my city and i couldn't because they're not accredited. So you're basically getting a worthless piece of paper with meaningless letters on it...

  11. why, would it be.

  12. is stratford career institute a scam?

  13. I used them back in 1997 when they were call At Home Professions and I'm telling you that if it wasn't for that school and it's teaching of Medical Billing, I wouldn't recognize all the frauds out there.  I attended two other schools for Medical Billing because I assumed it had to be more to billing other than what AHP taught me but I was wrong.  It was the best curriculum and most of these schools that shall remain nameless are clueless to medical billing.  I found that they’re only two great teachers of Medical Billing in southern California and one of them is now called U S Career Institute.  And NO I do not work for them at all but I have now enrolled in their claims adjuster course because they’re the only at home school that I trust to give me EVERYTHING that I need to pass the test and begin to work for myself.  Good Luck to all of you and I hope this helps someone.
