I'm a Chrstian. My friend keeps saying how ouija boards are not against my Religion. I have recently come to the conclusion that my house is hanted, things are going missing, i hear noises, I see black shadows go past me that leave after like 2 seconds.

She thinks its time to bring out the ouija board, in a way I really want to see if it works and it could be interesting. But I want to know, if I use it, is it a sin? I'm not going to be messing with ghosts and all I just want to know if there is really a ghost in my house?

Any help? Is it a sin?

  1. Ahh, I hope not, because then I sined =\

BUT; have fun with the Ouija board if you DO use it :D

It's SO freeking scary when you think somethings

happening , and it's just so FUN! ahhaa. Have fun ♥

  2. its not a sin, but messing with spirits and ghosts is a bad idea get a professional there's probably one in the yellow pages or something

  3. it aboard game made  for fun unless you take  it  that it full of demons and wicked powers and your church as claimed it to be a sin  then you would have to go with your faith on this

  4. ooohhh yea. it is pretty much power from the devil. thers is no such things as ghosts but there are such things as demons.

pray to God and say ín the name of God' demons leave my house.

do not use the ouija board. it does work by the devils power unfortunately so it draws people in.

  5. In my opinion it is not a sin.  But some people who are very religious and faithful to a religion might think it is a sin.  However, the ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them, so use  your own common sense and judgement.

  6. Yes, it is.  It is a form of divination, and divination is specifically prohibited.

As for "messing with ghosts" once you use one of these things you have no control over what can/may pop up.  Best left alone.

  7. yes, it is a sin and david blaine is the devil!!!!

seriously, it really depends on your intention for using the ouija board.  if it's just to find out if your house is haunted, if it's just to say goodbye to your long lost aunt, then it isn't.  go ahead.

now if you're using it to conjure up an evil spirit to help you rule all of mankind, then go figure.

one tip though.  once you call a spirit, always end the session when you're done.  if there's one important rule in quija board use, this is it.  ALWAYS. END. THE. SESSION.

  8. No it's not a sin.

    Christianity isn't real.

  9. ya know in some circles saying that one fantasy creature is telling you its wrong to talk to another fantasy creature would be diagnosed as dimentia or schitzophrenea.....id seek professional help soon before they tell you to do bad stuff.
