Is using a proxy server site dishonest?

Hi. I had a problem using certain sites on my computer. I had IPS bans and/or web blocks put on my computer. I was thinking of using a proxy server site to use these sites-the advantage is I can use proxy server sites like a web browser and use sites anonymously and the site people won't know what my IPS address is. I am debating whether I should because I feel like I'm doing something I can change getting in trouble over, or that I'm doing something dishonest. Is it dishonest? Is it dishonest to use a proxy server site on a site to override web blocks, or should I wait till the IPS/Internet connection on my computer is reset? Please let me know-thank you. :D

No i wouldnt say its dishonest if thats your computer. If its a work pc or a school pc then its more like timewasting and misuse of work or school resources, which is a different matter altogether, and you coulld quite possibly get in trouble over.

Just a word of warning though, dont be tempted to go on websites which require you to login, some proxies are owned by unscrupulous people who use them to farm account info.
