I am in the process of buying a Kodak Max 35mm Single Use Camera for my vacation. To develop it, do you take out the film yourself and then throw the camera away? Where do you develop the film? First-timer.

  1. No, you just bring the whole thing and drop it off for developing. They will take it out and get you your pictures. You can bring it anwhere they develop film, even 1 hour places. I always prefered having it put on CD.

  2. You simply turn in the entire camera at your local film processing lab, they will in turn recycle the casing that is the disposable camera.  you can select how you want it developed, how many sets of prints, and if you want a cd or just prints.

  3. You take it to a development place, they give you the pictures, and they keep the camera. Disposable cameras aren't very cost effective. For the price of ten or so, you could buy a digital camera and get unlimited photos. Not only that, but disposables are also bad for the environment.
