Is using bar soap bad for my shower/tub?

I have noticed that when I use bar soap (Not shower gel) it makes water bead up and stand in my shower and tub. It also has a different feel to it.

usually dosent clig tubs showers may want to observe more but what ever you feel comfotable with using is what u should use

I don't know if it's necessarily bad, but I've noticed my bathtub needs cleaning more often if I use bar soap instead of liquid soap.

Also, if bar soap is coating your bathtub more, what's it doing to your skin?

because a bar soap removes more oil from your skin, but that's a good thing, that's what I use.

Just clean it when you finish bathing

it's not "bad" for it, it just has a different chemical effect than the shower gel.  If you are worried about mold or something, just clean it regularly and you'll be fine

Bar soap is unsanitary.. Go back to body wash.
