  1. anything that radiates RF is not been PROVED to be safe in aircraft especially during take-off and landing.

    while I may disagree, it is currently the law that ALL RF DEVICES be turned OFF.

    A cell phone in a plane is just plain dumb since cell site antennas are made to look at the ground and not at the sky.

Actually its not safe using a cell phone in a plane but bluetooth i think if there is anything that your bluetooth caught signal you can cause chaos because a guy used his bluetooth in a plane to send a song to his cuz at the same time the plane couldnt turn but i dunno it might just be coinsedence but it might be safe but i suggest not to try it

  3. It's against FAA rules to use any transmitter in a plane. Is it safe, most likely but this is hotly debated (I'm on the "yeah, no problem" side of the debate). Still, you shouldn't do it for the simple reason that it's not allowed and you may freak a few people out.
