Is using peroxide bad for cartilage piercings?

i've heard that if its infected and u use peroxide...it kill too many germs and the good ones also....so it cant heal well...or something... i dont know. if thats true..whats good to clean it with when its infected...i've been using salt water and its been getting better. anything else?

  1. no wrong it cleans you ears from any germs duh


  2. i think you should just use antiseptic. that's what i use for all my piercings.

  3. Peroxide is okay to use on any piercing, I've pierced my eyebrow, nose and lip myself and always cleaned it with peroxide. Or you can put neosporing on the ring and around the outside where the piercing is and it will help it heal faster and better
