Is using the computer as harmful as watching TV for a long time? How harmful are the radiations from the computer and the tv?

yeah. actually its probably worse for your eyes when you are so up close to the screen. And the rerason why people get dumbwatching tv is becasue their brains arent thinking.For example watch tv then turn off your tv. You are just staring at a blank screen with your mout opened. Then you realize that it does not help your brain, or your body to do either one too much.

Probably, every hour you spend on the computer can contribute to vision loss. Computer use causes "near point stress," and the permanent effects of it, not to mention other things such as smaller blink rates and not sufficiant tear flow which leads to dry, burning eyes.
