  1. wow. why would vaseline be good? how about if you use a neosporen, which is made for cuts & scraps. WEAR SUN BLOCK ALL OF THE TIME

  2. Vaseline is the worst thing you could use on your face!! It's a petroleum product (can you say oil?) that coats your face and doesn't let it breath. It could actually make things worse. Pro active is the best there is. Short of a monthly expensive product that you have to ask your mom to buy, any grocery store product is decent. But for long term, pro active is the best. Also if you can get your mom to take you to a dermatologist there are all kinds of things. My dad was a dentist and he'd write a script for tetracycline and I took it every day and had pretty good skin after that. Hope this helps. Also, wash your face at least twice a day, stay away from chocolate and fatty sweets, and greasy foods like fast food and french fries!!

  3. No it's not it's so obvious why would you put grease on you re face???? To produce more acne? Use nutragina

  4. What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly acne.

Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available:

    Good luck.

  5. try lemon juice to clear up acne.

  6. Probably not on your face, unless you have a dry patch, but not on zits, because it is too oily.

  7. if its non-comedogenic it won't clog your pores, so you are fine. I'd recommend cetaphil lotion as a moisturizer though. thats non-comedogenic too. Proactiv does work, but only for about a year and a half and then your skin gets use to it and it doesnt work anymore. at least thats what happened to me. its also spendy and you have to order it. but it DOES work.

Stridex pads work really well, and really fast. the only problem is that they dry out your face like crazzyyy! so if you do want to use stridex, definately use the cetaphil lotion with it. if you do that then you'll be fine.

some other ones that work pretty well are clean & clear, acne free, and clearasil advanced.

  8. as long as it's non comenogenic

then it shouldn't make your acne any worse

but i used to have acne really bad

and i went to my doctors and they gave me these pills called minocycline

and my acne was noticibly better like way better within the first 3-5 days

  9. No because it clogs your pores. The best way to get rid or control acne is go to a skin specialist. They will give you the right medication.

  10. I would steer away from Vaseline on the face.  To treat the acne, put products that have salicylic acid or Benzoyl peroxide. Alpha Hydroxy products also work.  You may want to try a mask weekly, like Queen Helene Mint Julep.  It's a clay minty mask that draws out impurities and helps tighten up pores.  Use a toner before puting treatment products on because it helps clear the skin so the treatments can really sink in. :)

  11. I've always used bacterial soap and alcohol... it works really good... then use a good moisturizer

  12. In my opinion Clean and Clear works fast for me. I've been using it for a while now and its been working fine. and i had a really dry and jacked up skin b4. about the vaseline...i don't think you should use it on your ENTIRE face, but i dont see what harm it could do to u..neither do i see how it can help ur acne.

  13. pro acticve is best

  14. neutrogena neutrogena neutrogena! it's greaatttttttt
