Is vector marketing legitimate?

it's a company which lets you sell knives, garden tools and such to make money off of commissions. But I have to pay $143 to get the kit to show products to potential customers, and I want to know if it is a legitimate business before giving them my money.

if you want to work like a dog slinging knives to anyone and everyone you know, go for it.  But you need a full commitment to use your relationships for profit.  I'd rather buy different knives, and most people know Vector as being a commission only based market of knives.  I'd rather buy knives based on factors besides knowing you in the third grade...

It is OK, but nothing to put on a resume if you are in college.  It will be aggressive salesmanship

Most businesses like Vector make you buy your own kits if you are going to sell them. That way, if it is lost, it is at your own expense. I highly recommend buying the kit. It is fantastic and 75% off what it is really worth.

My boyfriend is employed by Vector and loves it. It is definently legit! He has 5 friends employed by Vector right now. They all are doing well!

The kit is nothing compared to the money you will make. NO-I am not a spokesperson/advertiser for the company, obviously (I'm a top contributer in comics and animation =], obviously not an advertiser!); but I have seen how the company has helped my boyfriend and his friends grow financially and they have gained so much experience.

Should you rely on this kind of job to pay all of the bills? Probably not. It does run on comission and you would need a lot of luck to be able to fully support yourself from this job, which is why it is recommended for college students who still depend on their parents somewhat.

My boyfriend made $30 commission from his very first interview/sale!

Don't let people who haven't worked for Vector shoot it down. Go for it! It's worth it if you don't need a full time job.
