Is vehicle warranty necessary? (NYC)?

I got a letter saying that my vehicle warranty is running out....but i dont know if its necessary or not....i think that the letter i got might just be some pre-approved thing

no. it's not necessary.. so just move on.

Oh, you don't need it, and I get about three offers a week from companies selling after market warranties.

You don't need this, it's junk mail.

It is not necessary. Take care  of the scheduled maintenance and you should be alright.
