  1. <<going to Venezia to propose...mmm...nice idea but if you already know it...say yes before going and you safe a lot of money!!! :o)  lol  Anyway Venezia is very expensive...it's a place for tourist. but there is some bar not in Piazza San Marco of course, where you can get a sandwitch or a pasta for cheaper. Don't eat or drink in Piazza San Marco cause prices there are crazy. Sleeping in Venezia is Romantic...but expensive so...better to stay in a hotel in Mestre (next to Venezia..not beautiful but very close to Venezia) than stay in a Hostel in Venezia...

  2. hi sweety.

    im from milan in italy.

i know venice its a bit expensive not too much for eating cause u can eating some piece of pizza or other stuff delicios on the road or eating in some restaurant medium level...for sleeping its possible stay out venice in the near town Marghera its distante 5 min by train to Venice island.

I advice u dont go in some Grand Hotel or chic restauran into...that way u can spend alot of money...only if u are ver rich...

keep in mind that go on Gondola(tipicall boat)coast a lots of money(maybe 1000 euro)for one round.its a beatiful experience but i think be too expensive to do it!

    kisses

  3. it is on the main tourist spots like Grand Canal and St Marks Square but you will find some nice reasonably priced places if you go off into the side streets. It is a very beautiful place, enjoy

  4. There's no avoiding the fact that Venice is expensive.  Europe for Visitors website has suggestions for family accommodation; also check Cheap Sleeps in Venice for places with character, charm, and reasonable price.

Juice is expensive, and so is pop. Bottled water is readily available; also we were told that the tap-water was drinkable, and in the hot days of August, we drank quite a bit of it.
