Is venom from a baby rattlesnake more poisonous than that of a mature rattlesnake?

  1. The correct term is venomous, but no... a baby rattle snake's venom is not as toxic(potent) as a mature rattlesnake. A baby rattlesnake is more dangerous than an adult though. This is due to the fact that a mature rattlesnake has had experience with regulating the amount of venom it uses with each bite. A baby rattlesnake will just inject all of the venom into one bite. This means that you may get 3 times the dose from the baby that you could from an adult.
