Is the venom still dangerous? What if an animal ate it?

  1. Yes. Even though the bee is dead, its stinger will still release poison if you get poked by it.

This gives more time for the discharge of poison from the poison sac. The pain from the sting is increased by the discharge of toxin.

    So,venom is dangerous.

    Many animals eat honeybees.Skunks will eat honeybees. They will scratch on the hive entrance at night and eat the bees as they come out to investigate.Bears love bees and bee brood.
