Is verizon wireless getting the iphone?

i heard for someone that verizon wireless will get the iphone so that people on verizon network can buy the iphone and not have to change to AT&T?

is this true?

No AT&T is the only one who carries the iPhone. Companies are making touch phones to make it appear as if it is the iPhone but it is not. True iPhone is made by Apple and sold at AT&T.

its an att exclusive phone

thats why verizon brought in phones such as the lg voyager, lg dare, and samsung glide, etc.

actually no Apple went to verizon with the IDEA but verizon turned it down! now verizon has the most touch screen phones out there including the voyager, the dare, the glyde, the venus, the cholate 3 and a couple others! but no they wont its now an EXCLUSIVE phone to ATT&T!
