Is vienna pram friendly city?

i mean is it easy to get in public transport with a baby in pram ( may be as much as copenhagen is?) ( in oslo.. almost all trams have steps to get in.. not possible to commute through tram when you are alone with baby in pram !)

  1. Yes it generally is. Almost all of the subway stations have lifts, and there are an increasing level of ultra low-floor tramways, and "kneeling" buses, that allow you to get on very easily.

    There are however still a few tramways with steps, where a bit of assistance might be required, but they are being phased out.

  3. Most trams have signs that say you should get on the tram with prams at the first entrance (where the driver is). Either the driver may help you with the pram, or other people will. There are 2-3 stairs but there will always be helpful people ...
