I love chinese food, american chinese & authentic.. I also love korean food.  But vietnamese food...  ick!  Especially those disgusting soups..  I had some sort of eyeball floating in a bowl of soup once...  My guess is that it was a fish eye.  There were other unrecognizable things as well.  I could have gotten past that if it at least TASTED good, but it did not!  But YOU may love it.  I suggest try it.

yes yes yes! Im a chef and my husband and i love all sorts of different cuisine! vietnamese is one of our favourites to go out for. it can be light and refreshing (like pho, just stay away from the tripe if you're new to it) with a delicious seawead salad, or go for something a little heartier, like a grilled porkchop with crispy fried noodles....they have fanstastic rice noodle rolls (close to the kind you know but cold and refreshing in a rice wrap)

yes it's vaguely similair to chinese, but it's generally fresh and much lighter than chinese which is heavier on the salts and oils...

learn to love vietnamese! IT"S GREAT!

Some of it is good...  BUT...  the cooking process reallly stinks up the place...

Phew...  sometimes it's really fowl...  ever live in an apartment, which was adjacent to a Vietnamese family...  I lived down the hall once..  I moved out as quickly as I could...

It's the freshest and healthiest of all the Asian cuisines.  I highly recommend you try it.  Start with something familiar like grilled pork chops and rice with a light salad, or try the pho (soup) with good steak in it.

If you mean in american Vietnamese restraunts then yeah i would say its real good and if you think thats good then you should try vietnam,the food there is brilliant.

Yeah! Especially the noodle soup (pho), you should try the one with white chicken meat, it has soft chicken and noodles! Yummy!

It depends on your preference. In my opinion, it's a lot like a combination of Chinese and Korean food. I quite like it.

Idk.  But, I am sure to the Vietnamese it is, and probably others, who may have at least tried it.
