  1. sorry never been

  2. I just moved to Virginia this year and I've really enjoyed what it has to offer.  I can see myself returning to the area for vacationing (especially over West Virginia) for the trifecta of Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Colonial WIlliamsburg and Water Country USA.  Toss in that you're really close to D.C.'s monuments, and you really can't go wrong visiting.  Prices are much better than other NE states for the day-to-day expenses, too.

If you do end up visiting, check out this discount site, you can save a lot of money : http://www.vavacationvalues.com/vavacati...

    Hope this helped!

  8. Virginia is one BEAUTIFUL state, & I KNOW you'll find EVERYTHING you're looking for.  You surely won't regret visiting there one bit.  Other than the Jersey beaches, Virginia Beach is the other best known beach in the area other than Myrtle Beach in SC...(And Myrtle Beach is for golfers)  Best to you...:)

  9. Well theres always virginia *beach*

    www.tripadvisor.com

check it out. it rates hotels and whatnot.

  10. Its alright.... I've vacationed there before. I went to Virginia beach. over there they have lots of hotels along the beach and pools too.

  11. I suggest www.tripadvisor.com

A great resource when you are planning a trip anywhere.

  12. Yes it is.. from the beaches to the smokey mountains. And full of historical sites

  13. I live in Virginia Beach and if you are going to vacation in Virginia, Virginia Beach is the best city to visit.  We have miles and miles of beaches, tons of hotels right on the boardwalk.  If you are scared to swim in the Atlantic Ocean you can check out Chick's Beach on the Chesapeake Bay!  There are sooo many places to eat, great museums if you want a break away from the sun.  You can take a short car ride to Norfolk and check out the Naval station and go shopping.  Busch Gardens is only a 45 minute ride away in Williamsburg, VA; plus you can go check out the history of colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown.

    Check it out!

(one person mentioned to go to Oceanview in Norfolk...ummm you might want to just stick to the beaches in Virginia Beach....Be Careful!)
