Is virginity really that important?

well I've herd a lot about omg is he the right guy?

when do i know when to have s*x

what if we don't stay together forever etc..

i totally understand that virginity is also part of religions or something like that i know i grew up believe in not to have s*x before marriage. but don't you think things would be better if it wasn't so important?

why is virginity so important to people?

Virginity is the sign of purity, a woman with a good reputation, good morals, standards, a good conscious, class, dignity, self control, honor, and good sense.  My wife was a virgin when I married her 4 years ago (she was 22).  I am more proud of her than any woman I have ever known.  

A woman who has been loose, S****y, lots of lovers, bf's, children from other men are NOT of very good character.  How can you justify it?  Because she is horny?  Needs to get off?  Can't control herself?  It's S****y, indecent, immoral, ignorance, dirty, and no common sense.  s*x leads to unwanted pregnancies, a bad reputation, sexual transmitted diseases, Aids, Herpes, romantic hassles, mental and emotional problems, and BAGGAGE!

So you still want more information?  That's quite a bit in itself.  But to be frank, having s*x should be something special between two people who have a close bond, friendship, love, and commitment for one another.  It's not to be taken lightly or just something for thrills or because you have a s*x drive to fulfill.  Or your a needy person who must always have a bf and give it up so that you feel secure or for self importance.  Ideally it should be in marriage, but I suppose two people who have something special than it's okay for them.  But be sure it's the person of your dreams.  If not, you could be being used, played, manipulated.  You never know who else that person could have been with?  They could be planning to dump you once they get what they want.  They could be cheating on you, playing the field.  So YES, s*x is a serious deal and virginity is the highest form of moral integrity there is.  Rare (blame modern society), but don't underestimate it.  For hundreds of years it was considered the gold standard for women.

because u have to be careful who u lose it 2 for reasons such as ur always gonna have feeling for that person regardless of the situation so be careful who u lose it to and make sure hes the one for you and dont just use you

I don't think that it's all about virginity, I think that s*x is important. Unfortunately, in the US and lately all over the world, people have forgotten about the real meaning of having s*x. People just want to sleep with as many people as they can and don't realize that it's about love. Whether you're a virgin or not, I think that s*x is only to be done with the person you love, it's about giving yourself completely to that other person, it's about compromise and caring. you are free have s*x with whomever you want to, but you should think about it before you do it. You have to feel sure about it, you have to be sure about what you feel for the guy and how he feels about you. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure you would end up regretting it. Even if you don't stay with the guy forever, at least you would feel good about yourself because you did it because  you loved him.

YES IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!

i will explain...i am not going to have s*x until i am married, and one of the reasons i do it is to please God, and its just the right thing.

your virginity is a special thing God gave you and you should keep that for on man for one lifetime...WAIT TILL MARRIAGE and you will be happy and glad that u waited.

i totally agree. personally, i think u should only give it up when u truly love the person (and not only their looks), and r ready to have s*x. i think it's so important to ppl, because they want to kno that the person they're with is pure and they want to kno they'r their frst.

I think because it's the one thing you can give to someone that you can never ever give to anyone else once you've already given it. In this day and age, I think it's even more unrealistic to stay a virgin until marriage. If it's due to religious beliefs, you're probably better off being in a relationship with a partner in the same religion so you can both relate and there's no pressure on either side to do it.

But as for me, I love s*x, badda-bing! LOL.

No its not that important its just some dumb religious myth.  As long as you are responsible and able to make good decisions for yourself it is ok to loose your virginity.  Just make sure to practice safe s*x.

In my house(since I'm spanish) staying virgin until you married was a big thing. My parents were very strict, especially me being the youngest from my sisters. My sisters got pregnant when they were 16 and the other one was 20. so parents did not want me to fall in the same foot steps. So I couldn't be any where by myself and I was in catholic school from 4 years old till i was 14 years old. They wanted me to follow the religous foot steps especially us living in New york! I mean I believe very much in God and I go to church and I pray. I have very strong belief. I did not wait until I was married to have s*x. I am proud to say that I lose my virginity when I was 18!!! I don't regret becasue I did with someone that I felt comfortable with. I knew we weren't going to get married and all that, I knew the consequences that were coming. I know women that waited until they got married becasue they thought it was right thing to do, now they regret it becasue their husbands cheat on them and treat like c**p! so you tell me. everywhere you look at this something will always go wrong. so just do it when you feel its right. when you feel comfortable with that person. you never know what will come out of it. Remember God always does things for a reason. Just do it wisely and always be safe!
