  1. I just got a new computer about 2 months ago and it came with Vista.  I like the layout a lot more.  They have some widgets that you can put on your desktop, like the weather, a notepad, and a digital photo frame.  I think the task bar is more accessible.

    As for the way it runs, it takes a little longer for my computer to start, but it shuts down a lot faster.  I haven't noticed anything bad with Vista yet, except that some things aren't compatible.  The only thing I've come across as incompatible was the CoverGirl.com virtual makeup thing (which was a bummer).
