They would have to give me a lot more than that to get my to buy a VW.

Like how about making a reliable car?  That would be a good start.

No, that was over a long time ago. Those guitars are really low level guitars. You would be better off going to your local Guitar Center or any store that sells guitars. If you want a good guitar to start off with, get an Epiphone Les Paul Studio. While not quite as flashy as the custom model, it is significantly cheaper and has the same electronics and pickups.

I contacted my local VW dealer a few months ago, i asked that question and they said that it was the 2006-2007 promotion, so i dont believe they still give it out!
