  1. at the club level is can get up to 10,000, it is pretty expensive to play club,

if you mean equipment, obviosly depending on quality but its not as expensive as say football

  2. Not really unless you join a big team. I play and it's about $20.00.

  3. You can play with a local group or for your school for $60-$100. It is soo funn to play!

  4. well, you have to have a volley ball, knee pads, and a net...not really, depending on if you are using another net, or ur planning on setting up a court in your back yard...u really need more info for me to answer this question

  5. NO!!!!!!!!

  6. You bet it is well atleast if you want to be at the top.  About $4,000 for club (every year)this is for the best club in my state but some clubs in like California and Texas cost like 10,000 to play on and you have to pay for traveling fees and the coaches fees

$100 for the shoes (which you have to replace like every year)

Last year my family spent about $2,000 in traveling to tournaments

$600 in camps over the summer

Some of my friends even higher personal trainers which definatly costs a lot

so if you just want to play for fun it is pretty cheap but if you want to play serious volleyball then it is going to cost you.

  7. If it's for highschool then not really. You just need to get shoes (non-slip soles), kneepads (around $20), and if your school does t-shirts and all that you buy those (ours are $10-$15). Also you'd need a sports physical.

Just don't go falling and break something and have to wait for a 1/2 hour for the ambulance! That actually happened at a game a couple years ago! Some girl fell and hurt her neck and the game was stopped for like 45 minutes!

  8. it is not too expensive - you need knee pads and good sneakers and maybe to join a team it may cost a little - but other than that you dont need much other gear so it is relatively cheap

  9. no. u just have to buy knee-pads and some comfy shoes. and maybe a ball. thats not that bad.

  10. if your goin to play club volleyball it IS rather expensive unlike on a school team. Remeber, when you play club you get much better, you have experiance then, and you learn a lot of things. I thik that club volleyball is worth it. i rember in middle school volleyball we stunk one year after that school season i tried out for club, played that whole year, and i came back and i was and still am the best player on the team.

  11. not much

  12. Definately not...find a gym (high school=free!)...knee pads, approx. $20...add a volleyball and some friends and you're good to go. Enjoy!! It's the greatest sport out there :)

  13. probably not

  14. its depents what team and what area you want to play in  I play volleyball and its only like 400 dollars well thats alot to some people but i think its worth  it  oh and if you are going out for a exspencive team well then you better no how to play and you should be good ,if you are not then dont wast the money

  15. Only if you get hit in the face and have no insurance.

  16. no not really. Its probably cheaper if you play for a school.

  17. no

  18. Volleyball could be excpensive to play.. I mean if you played on Club that would be some money.. though thats how im playing um.. but besides that its not

  19. because I'm a volleyball player yes volleyball is the second to the most popular and the most expensive game in the world so my answer to that questoin is yes.

  20. If you just play at the YMCA or school its not that expensive but if you play club volleyball where you travel out of state and go to big tournaments it can get pretty expensive...when i played this year it was close to $3000....and that was for a 15's team
