  1. No.  CVS Caremark Corporation and Walgreen Co. are two different corporations.

    CVS' websites are http://www.cvscaremark.com/ & http://www.cvs.com.  Walgreens' website is http://www.walgreens.com/.  Their stock symbols are CVS & WAG.


  2. I do not know this for sure, but I do not think that Walgreens and CVS are connected.  If there isn't a Walgreens on the corner then there is a CVS. It is tough competition.  It would not make the best business sense to have so many stores on so many corners in every city.  It is good to have competition but if you are competiting against yourself it is kind of like playing tug of war with yourself.
