  1. depends on watcha watchin

  2. Hello,

Yes and no; it all depends on what channels you watch. You can choose the Vision network and see Islamic programming or get seduced by the Playboy and other x*x channels. In fairness all movies post their ratings a minute before beginning.

    Cheers,

    Michael Kelly

  3. islamic programs and news is not haram i dont think watching football is haram and all the bad channels such as movies and rude stuff and stuff like that is

  4. are you actually being serious?!

  5. No its not. It depends on what channels u put on it. ;)

    Peace

  6. Not entirely but its real easy to slip once you start. There more productive things to do with your time in Ramadan. Remember. every second counts.

  7. which are the bad channels? because Discovery & History channel show a lot of things on there that dispel many myths about religion.  doesn't that send you into some sort of Fatwa or something?

  8. yeah, just skip the bad channels, and bad scenes! and dont watch it at the time of Adhaan, and first say your prayers then watch TV.

  9. “Do you feel them laughing at you,

Through the TV? I know I do

And do you wonder how they get away

    With that **** they say?”

    “When you trust your television

What you get is what you got

Because when they own the information

Oh they can bend it all they want”

--  John Mayer, “Waiting on the World to Change”

Where I live, TV is run by the prophets of profit.  I try to watch very little but occassionally to see what my country is tuned into, I view a little bit.  I am usually quite appalled at what I see.
