Is watchmen appropriate for thirteen year olds?

I'm thirteen and really want to read watchmen, but I've heard that it has mature content. I don't mind nudity, s*x or non-gory violence, but if there isn't a gratuitous amount, I'd be fine. Does anyone know?

The age of the person doesn't tell us anything.  All that matters is the level of their maturity.

It does have some disturbingly gory images, but nudity/s*x is on the down-low for an adult comic.

theres some s*x and a little nudity but im thirteen and ive read it  its great

It should be okay, there is no extreme violence or s*x, most of the worst violence is not seen or is inferred. I don't think it's a problem, you probably see worse in the news
