  1. galvanized pipe is made for rain exposure applications so it is very ulikely that it will rust. but if you are concerned , get a can of white spray paint and paint the pipe , or make a shield out of a piece of large diameter pvc pipe or discarded radiator hose

  2. are U sure galvanized is gas line?

    black pipe is gas pipe

copper water line touching a galvanized pipe with water dripping on it

are you afraid of static electricity or what?

if your concerned enough, fix the drip or shield it so the water runs off or put a piece of rubber between the copper and gal pipe

  3. eventually it will rust, but it will take several years before it would cause a leak. Galv lines were used for water lines underground before copper and plastic became available. The ground gets wet from rain and they last 20 or more years before leaks occur. Black pipe would rust and leak gas along time before galv. would.

  4. Well I know the answer But I guess I dont have enough experience to answer your question Good Luck.
