  1. There are scientific way we can recycle grey water to human consumption but human nature will not accept it.we are recycling water and discharging treated water into river and that water again treated for drinking purpose so we are recycling indirectly since many years...Good question anyway!

  2. No. 50 Years ago the government here in queensland looked at putting a desalination plant in behind the hinze dam, but it was later rejected as it was claimed tha it was not neaded and would be a waste of time and money, Boy were they wrong, If it had been built, we would not have level 5 water restictions today.

  3. The Cities up and down the Mississippi river have done it for many years. They take the water out and use it and treat it and dump it back in the river.

  4. yes because recycled grey water is still not able to be used for human consumption only irragation. untill we can drink it its still and emerging technology.

  5. That is 1 of the many problems with goverments that has been restricting the progress of protecting the earth. It is fairly simple, honestly. Becoming financially prosperous and pure greed is the primary blockade in the installment of more enviornmentally friendly advanced technologies. While such technolgies have been developed the capitalist countries  have failed to incorporate them into society. This is a failed duty by the goverment and persuasive sectors of society. Much of the world has yet to see that a prosperous, healthy Earth is a prospering, thriving civilization.
