  1. Both. Water is a liquid, thus it is wet. When you pour water on a lamp, it becomes wet because the water is wet. The property of being wet is not transferred, but restricted to the water.


  2. This is somewhat of a nit-picking question about terminology.  Water is not wet, but it is a liquid capable of wetting.  Read the reference.

  3. if water is not wet how can it make things wet (yes water is wet) ^_^touche^_^
