1. whoa gud question - since it brought out the record book, - usually i just use this [answers] to jump to my profile page - where you'll find a fakbak [fa ceb ook] link for gretzky maxed !!!so i now can use this link , for soothn knowing gretz was a once in a lifetime phenom

  2. No, that's Sidney Crosby just ask I <3 Life & Basketball.

  3. Yes, and more so. Nobody has dominated ANY sport the way Wayne Gretzky dominated hockey. MJ doesn't have near as many awards / records that Wayne holds.

4 Stanley Cups in 6 appearances.

    2857 points in 1487 games (1.92 pts / game)

Messier in 2nd place has 1887 points in 1756 games (1.07 pts / game)

Mario Lemieux averaged (1.88 pts / game)

That HUGE gap from 1st to 2nd just shows how good he was.

  4. wayne gretzky played hockey, so hes not the michael jordan of basketball

  6. Nah... I'd say MJ is the Michael Jordan of basketball. I don't even know if Gretzky plays.

  7. Wayne Gretzky is to hockey as Michael Jordan is to basketball

Wayne Gretzky is to hockey as Tiger Woods is to golf

Wayne Gretzky is to hockey as David Beckham is to soccer?

Wayne Gretzky is to hockey as John Stamos is to acting

  8. Yep

  9. No. Mario Lemieux maybe.

  10. It would actually be Is Wayne Gretzky the Michael Jordan of Hockey since Wayne Gretzky played hockey and not basketball.

And no. Michaeal Jordan was the Wayne Gretzky of Basektball. ;] Which would make Larry Bird the Bobby Orr of basketball.

  11. I think Bodang got your records covered... but his worth to hockey can be measured in more than just records................

Wayne was the Jordan of Hockey..... Just like Tiger is to Golf.... just like Federer is to tennis! His records are numerous and too many to list. Many will NEVER be touched unless Hockey drastically changes its rules. Wayne was the Ambassador that Hockey needed for areas in the country (USA) that had never gotten in to hockey. He put the NHL on to the map. The affect he had on the NHL cant be just measured in Records.... his affect is Priceless.

  12. Gretzky wasn't the Michael Jordan of basketball. MJ was the MJ of basketball. Read your question carefully.

In any event, Jordan's records will likely be surpassed. Gretzky's hockey records will not.
