be careful because Detroit is very depressing--if the school is good certainly consider it, but the city (being from there I can say this,) is a depressing place. no offense meant to others who live there! but someone from another country should know this in advance. be careful where you live. but if they give you a good deal financially and they have what you want, why not if they seem the best place for you. just watch out for safety things. You should be able to access the list of their courses from an online catalog on the computer, as is possible with most schools even without a password.

Wayne State University is an excellent school. My husband was a foreign student there but he's from Canada - which, you might know, is rather close so they have special programs for Canadians by which they don't have to pay the out of area student fee for Ontarians. Call the admissions department and they can give you more information.
