Is weather in London really as bad as everyone says?

not just in london, the whole of the uk generally does have bad weather. the expression that it always rains in england? its true :( i live here and it does rain quite a lot but then again, we have some really nice patches of hot sunny weather which is really nice, because after all that awful weather people appreciate the slightest bit of sunshine 10x more than if it was sunny every day. if you are planning to come to england though, make sure you prepared for rain, either bring your own umbrella or buy one as soon as you arrive lol!
