Is weed really that bad for you if you don't do it too much?

I'm going to high school gonna be a freshmen in about 5 days and I was chillin wit my home boyz at the basketball court shootin some hoops and then they started talking bout they weed and they say its not that bad as long as you don't do it too much and people in my school are always saying that so it is true or are they lying?

Anything in small enough amounts is fine. The problem with drugs though is that it rarely stays at "small amounts", and soon becomes a problem.
