Yes West at Home is a legitimate work from home job.  The only costs associated with it are the cost of a headset (which you can get decent one for $20 from Best Buy) and a additional phone line (I paid around $17 per month).  The only con to one of these jobs is that they only pay you for talk time.  So if you're scheduled for an 8 hour shift and your calls only total 2 hours, they'll only pay you for 2 hours.
