Is what i have an abscess?

Ok this questions is one i would like answered by a professional (NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE ELSE) ok i have been having problems with the bottom wisdom tooth and the tooth in from of it, I have all the symptoms of an abscess but i don't see the "boil" that usually forms. Does a bump always form where it is visible or can it be forming under the tooth or am i just not seeing it? Thank you in advance for all of your answers.

If this is a wisdom tooth you probably have pericoronitis.  This is caused when you get food or plaque under the gum around the wisdom tooth that you cannot get out.  This is one of the reasons wisdom teeth are extracted.  This is a localized infection that will not produce a "boil."  Boils come from teeth that are infected from the deep inside the nerve pulp and the infection is exiting the roots.  You have a soft tissue infection and ideally need to have your wisdom teeth extracted.  In the meantime try to rinse vigorously with warm salt water to try to flush out what is causing the infection.  Get to your dentist!!

an abscess does not need to show a bump, usually it will seem like the affected tooth is raised up slightly and is noticeable when you close your teeth.

OFTEN TIMES A DENTAL X-RAY IS NEEDED TO DETERMINE IF A TOOTH HAS AN ABSCESS.

A WISDOM TOOTH COMMONLY HAS A GUM INFECTION AROUND IT CALLED PERICORINITIS. THIS WILL NEVER GET A BOIL.

A BOIL ONLY COMES WHEN THERE IS AN INFECTION IN THE NERVE OF A TOOTH.
