Is what i saw the other day a real UFO?!?

i was playin with my friends the other day and we were looking at the sky for stars. all of a sudden we saw a object move slowly across our heads. it looked like a star but did not stay stationary. it wasnt a comet too cuz it had no tail. or a bird (i know what birds look like). could this be a real ufo?!

In all likelihood, you saw a satellite...  if it was bright and you provided me with your location on earth, I could confirm if it was possibly the International Space Station.  

Technically, since you were unable to identify it, to you it IS a UFO, (you couldn't identify it, it appeared to be "flying"  and, seeing how it was visible, it most likely was an "object.") only because you are unable to identify it.  But from your description, it is probably a satellite.  There are thousands of these things orbiting the earth, and when they catch the sunlight just right, are highly reflective and look like moving stars.  On a clear night from a dark location, you can see 4 or 5 of these every hour, easily, sometimes more.

It was most definitely unidentified but probably not extraterrestrial aliens.  It is possible but only a small fraction, if any, unidentified objects would be extraterrestrial spacecraft.  I do think they likely exist but only a few sightings are very credible.

From your description, it sounds like you saw an artificial satellite, possibly the International Space Station. If you log onto the web site below with your location, you should be able to see whether what you saw was a known satellite.

Yes the the thing you saw was a real UFO, because you saw a flying object but you couldn't make out what the object was, so it was Unidentified Flying Object. UFO doesn't neccesseraly mean an alien space craft alls it stands for is " unidentified flying object" some people mistake it as seeing an alien space craft, but it can also not mean just that but what i said earlier.

Most likely not an alien, but it was definitely an unidentified object to you! UFO stands for an unidentified object, and if you cannot identify it, then it is a UFO!

It may have been a military plane, passenger plane, astrological debris, such as small rocks, or other things flying into our atmosphere.

I'm not really sure because sometimes i see stuff like that,but the fact is there is something out there we humans ain't the only things in space there would be other stuff. Because ive seen what you've been seeing and im been asking all my life its just nobody really knows if we have Ufos in the world. Its not much of a big thing to me.
