Is what is being called Tungsten jewelry actually the ceramic compound Tungsten Carbide or is there actual metallic Tungsten jewelry out there?

Tungsten on its own cannot be made into jewelry, because it is far too brittle. They use carbon (hence, carbide) to make it more stable, and they often use nickel as a binding agent.
