  1. I totally agree with you. The Packers NEED to let go of Farve. They are  just hurting the team with their obsession with him. Let him go.... he will retire in a year or two anyway. They need to concentrate on the future.

  2. Brett retired, the team went another direction, he went back on his word, he's gone, or sitting the bench. I do have great respect for favre and his career, but a team can't watch you retire and then wait around to see if you want to play football again. He choose to leave the packers had to invest time in  their future.

  3. It depends on how it ends. If Brett stays and dosent start....sad day for Packers... People will not look at the packers the same way.If he gets traded to the bears or vikings...sad day for me..I'm a packers fan...Fans wouldnt like it, but Brett would be happy. If he takes the money and dosent play....sad for everyone. This all started because he really wanted to play...taking the money wouldn't look good and staying retired would not look pretty.

  4. It is more than sad. Just pitiful.

You're right, Montana was traded yet people know him as a niner.

The great Vince Lombardi ended up coaching the skins at the end of his career, but no one cares about that. He's still a legens in Green Bay.

So why is it they refuse to trade Farve.

And to pay him to not play? How is that football?

    Pitiful. Just pitiful.

  5. I am one of Favre's biggest fans, but i am just letting you know that i dont support any of this.  I think that either the Pack should just trade him, or he should just stay retired...i mean, in March, in his press conference he said that "all desire to play has been lost for me" why does that change in a month and a half? i dont think that he should get exactly what he wants just cuz hes brett favre.  Hes being a whiney baby. He spent the last 6 years of his career saying that he wants to be one of the greats that only plays for one team.  why does he wanna get traded so badly then? and i will lose all respect for him if he takes the $25 million and stays retired.  he said that this had nothing to do with money, and he just wants to play.  the people shouldnt have to pay to watch brett favre sit at home.  He should get the same exact treatment as everyone else in the nfl...i think that he should be traded, or stop whining.
