Before there was eyes in the universe to do did it still exist in the same form or does our perception to see and think change what is really there into something we can understand.

  1. We know that the universe has changed sense the big bang. Galaxies and stars and even elements went through their own type of evolution. If you mean that we see the universe differently from what it really is, then a better place to put this would be under philosophy because that's more of a philosophical question.

But scientifically, we know the universe has changed over time... galaxies have evolved into the spiral and irregular galaxies we know and love today! Stars have also changed.

  2. It is a deep question indeed.

We are pretty sure that as we look out, what we see is what 'was' rather than what 'is'.

Relativity tells us what different observers will 'see', and how they will

disagree in their perceived 'realities' in a given situation..

Quantum mechanics argues that reality doesn't collapse into being

    until it is observed.

Luckily, our perceptions are mostly consistent with the laws

of cause and effect that we've worked out by experience.

We do the best we can.

  3. God's eyes were always there and always will be.

If you and I both 'see' and 'hear' a bird, we have to at least agree that something is generating what we a perception in our brain that we have learned to call a 'bird'...

  4. A very good question - one which Plato himself thought long and hard about.  Our perception of the universe is ultimately restricted by the fact that we ourselves our part of the system that we are observing.  Since we are moving through all dimensions as we observe, it is impossible for us not to effect our surroundings.  Even our perceptions are inadequate at best as we are limited by our bodies chemistry as to what we can interpret in even the simplest system.  Our visual range, hearing, sense of smell, touch and taste all provide a human experience of this universe which is the only real perception we can hope to have in this lifetime.

  5. well, the things in the universe are truly there, but we are seeing a different perception of them other than what they really look like. Because objects in space are so far away, the light that bounces off of them and comes toward earth takes a lot of time to reach earth.  Example, the sun is over 300 million miles away from earth. The time it takes for sunlight to reach earth is 8.23 minutes. In other words, if the sun were to suddenly disappear, it would be 8.23 minutes before we would know. and stars that are in other galaxies such as the andromeda where the starts are millions of light years away, we are seeing what they looked like millions of years ago

  6. >Is what we see in the universe real or perception?

Probably real. When we look out deep into space, the phenomena we see indicate that things out there are being affected by the same physical laws in the same ways as those we observe here on Earth. Also, other stars appear to be much like our Sun, and the planets orbiting them are similar to the other planets inside the Solar System. It would be quite unusual if this were to turn out to all be some kind of illusion- although admittedly it WOULD help to solve the Fermi Paradox.

    >Before there was eyes in the universe to do did it still exist in the same form

Eyes have been around for a long time, hundreds of millions of years on Earth and possibly much longer on other planets in the Universe. Thus, the Universe has changed somewhat since the first eyes came into existence. However there is no good reason to think that it was somehow fundamentally different before any life forms were around to perceive it. Most phenomena we observe are best explained by the idea that things DO happen while we aren't looking. To put it another way, if a tree falls in the forest and there's no one around to hear it, yes it does make a sound.

    >Are our eyes playing tricks on us or are we viewing the raw universe or would some other alien race see the galaxy in a different form?

Different kinds of intelligent life forms could well have different means of perception. It is reasonable to imagine aliens that have much better senses of hearing or smell than we do, or that are able to see in the ultraviolet frequency range, or which can detect neutron radiation on their skin. However, all of us would ultimately be perceiving the same universe, just in slightly different ways. Each race would eventually build machines capable of seeing that which they can't see using their own naturally existing senses, just as we have built machines to detect radio waves and seismic shocks and neutron radiation that our bodies can't perceive on their own.

  7. I understand, very good question

Actually our perception on the things around us changes how they act, particles that aren't being observed don't exist in one place they are in fact in many places, so our observation of any massive object changes the way it behaves

if that interests you study more on the topic of quantum mechanics

  8. Everything in the universe is evergy, energy is God, the universe is what it is, but our "spiritual(energy)" connection with it changes how it behaves, that is to say that the masses that give us our energy, also accept it, like a feedback system. It takes our energy, and does something with it, its conscioussness of the universe, everything in the universe is just the exhange of different energy frequencies. So our negativity, our positive mentalities, everything we say and do affects the universe somehow, it eventually determines the path that must be taken in flife to continue existing. In the case of humans, our survival is dependant on how connected with universal consciousness our minds are, if we are disconnected from the true path as intended by God(creationism-energy)then the intended path must be satisfied and any measures to get there must be put into place. We are witnessing right now "global warming" the change of the Earth for the benefit of the future of the human species, otherwise we would pollute ourselves to death and eventually wipe out our own species from our own arrogance and ignorance.
