  1. No not really, as when you look at yourself in the mirror which is the opposite reflection to what you are, and seeing as majority of the population do not have a symmetrical facial features you can sometimes look different to what others look at you.

For example, take a picture of yourself and with an aid of a computer, flip the picture around or reflect it and see if you look like the same person as you see in the mirror.

  2. i don't think so. everyone perceives things differently (beauty is in the eye of the beholder kinda thing). as well people tend to be harder on themselves and look  more closely at themselves than other people, like when you see that huge horrendous zit forming on your face but no one else notices it because it's more likely just a tiny spot that's hardly noticable.

  3. I see Pink.

  4. no! usually you are uglier than what you think

  5. It's a backwards refection, so no.  People see me how I am video taped though...

  6. No, a mirror reverses you, so that your right side appears to be the left one and vice versa. To get a true picture, you must set up two mirrors, so that one reflects the other one.

  7. Umm yah

  8. No.  Although a mirror image is opposite the main discrepancy is perception.  Even those you know are seen differently by others.  Our own perception of ourselves and others is quite different from that of someone else.   Environment, upbringing, social status, age, spirituality, culture, etc., etc. all taint our view of the world and others.

You probably have a friend who thinks a certain individual is attractive while to you they are merely acceptable or even unattractive.

Ultimately you are your own worst critic.  You will see things in the mirror that you find unattractive that others will not even notice.  You may not see other details because you don't see how you interreact with others and what they see when you smile at a joke or frown at a puzzling comment.  You can pretend in front of a mirror but it is difficult to mimic your actual, involuntary response to stimuli.

  9. they see the same physically.. but their thinking will be differrent from ours... so that makes a large difference.

  10. Have you ever seen your self in a multi mirror room? Like the kind that they have in dressing rooms. When I seen what my profile looked like, I was very surprised..I always thought my jaw line was tight..instead i saw a double chin...that's crazy.

So the answer to your question is no.

  11. ummm yes...after all i AM looking in a mirror =D

  12. The image you see is reversed horizontally. The way people see you physically is flipped from what you see. As in when you're looking at a mirror the left is really the right side of you... I hope that makes sense...

  13. What a frightening thought

  14. duh

  15. in a way but you see your self different than others

  16. No - you are viewing yourself backwards - what you see in the mirror as your right side is what looks like the left to onlookers.

  17. Yea, I'm very confident in myself and I exude that in everything I do -- so people see that and they always respond to it positively. Except for the haters that wish they were me!

  18. Pretty much so, but you're not getting as much of a 3D effect and aren't seeing the angles they see you at.

  19. Actually, people see a mirror image of you from your perspective.  They also see things about you that you don't see.

  20. I don't think so.

In some photo's people say that looks just like you & i think OMG that looks nothing like me!!!

  21. You might be a bit darker than you see yourself in mirror, light shines and reflect so yeah, you're mostly darker than you see yourself in mirror. But who cares how people see you basically.

  22. sure!

  23. Of course it is. It's common sense.
