Is white bedroom furniture for girls?

I just purchased a modern white bedroom platform for my new urban loft. I have time to return it. I had a couple women look at it and they said it is for a woman not a man...i didnt think anything of it i thought it looked cool. Is white bedroom furniture to feminine for a single guy?

Nahhh, a bedroom doesn't have to look masculine because a man is going to sleep there. I have a floral print's duvet and it doesn's mean my husband is g*y.

I don't think that it has to be.  Butch it up with leather and dark colors.  Deep blue or brown should work, avoid black.  Brush nickel and other cold metals also work.  Avoid small scaled items and clutter.

Return it if you are uncomfortable and do not like it - but it does not have to be feminine at all.

Not if you do the rest of the place in a masculine way. Maybe a slate grey wall with a modern pattern etc. Or a cow hide carpet things like that really change a room and white goes with everything and can be decorated to look any way. Its feminine when it is like an ornate sculptural cast iron bed painted white but not when it has clean lines, then it depends on the rest of what is in the room.

White bedroom furniture is gender neutral - it all depends on the accessories you use.  If you are not to comfortable with the look of your furniture anymore, you could "butch up" your accessories - darker masculine bedding (browns, coppers, dark greens, dark blue) or you could paint the furniture!

It's not the furniture that makes the man....

If it's very straight lines, then it should be fine.  You could use black, white and gray as a color scheme, with splashes of bright red.
