  1. When you read it on a label, it means the exact same thing. Companies will put the term "wheat flour" on a label because people read it and think it means "whole wheat flour". But it does not.

  2. "White" flour and "wheat" flour and both made from the same thing--wheat. There's no difference aside from the fact that white flour has had its bran removed, thus lessening the amount of fiber and nutrition. If you can't tolerate white flour, you should probably just cut out wheat products altogether. Rye flour, corn flour, and oat flour are all good substitutes.

  3. Not necessarily, wheat flower is less refined than white flour.. In eating breads for instance, I would stick with a seven grain type of bread tather than one that says simply wheat flour since their is no way to tell how refined it actually is.

  4. nope...they're not exactly the same but i do think they have some of the same ingredients...check the label

  5. Wheat flour has bran in it, which helps in digestion. White flour is refined, so it has no bran which can cause indigestion.

  6. White flour is wheat flour that has been stripped of the bran.....if you have problems with white flour it could simply be because the stripping process makes it gummier and harder to digest. Try whole wheat and if you still have problems, switch to gluten free products.

  7. No
