Is wind surfing easy??

Question

Hey im just wondering if windsurfing is easy?

Like if you've never done it before or never even surfed, how long would it take you to learnn?

No, it's not easy, but most of the folks who read this section don't WIND SURF, they surf. Big difference. Windsurfing is great, if you live where there are no waves, like a lake or bay, but otherwise, most surfers don't have too much interest in it. Check out Yahoo Answers "water sports"

it depends on what you want to be doing on it. In light winds and no waves, wind surfing is fairly simple to do. However wind makes it harder to hold on and strength is needed and waves make it harder to balance

It isn't the easiest thing in the world, at least for me it wasn't, but it is extremely rewarding and fun. What you should do is take one windsurfing class, learn the basics of windsurfing, and then decide if you want to pursue it as a hobby.

windsurfing is difficult at the beginning. It will take you some time to start planning, but when you get there you will see how addictet you can get with the wind.

The best to learn is to go somewhere with wind for a month and start learning. About how long it will take you to learn - well, you never stop learning.

i am a surfer but i go windsurfing a few times a year and it took me about 5 days 6 hours a day to learn
