Is window vista good? or it's a bad investment?

So i'm planning on getting a laptop, however i don't know if windows would be a good app to have on your PC. so what do you think?

Windows Vista sucks. It has about a million glitches, makes my computer slower, and isn't compatible with a lot of devices you would hook into your computer. Stick with xp!

it took me about a week to get used to it. now i like it. there's a lot of stuff they took out from xp (like the fax isn't there anymore, etc.), but it's relatively more stable - considering i use it like a work horse 24 hours a day. lol.

You can still get new pcs and laptops with Windows XP  - I just did.  Or you can ask if they can install it instead, although you may have to pay extra for a new license.  I recommend waiting on  using Vista till they work out more of the bugs,

If this is a computer you will be using at work or for work it is a good idea to match it to the operating system that other computers are using so there is no compatibility problem.
