  1. Windsor is a bit pricey to live in but lovely for a day out.  We live 6 miles away (approx.) and love a day out there.  There are parts of Windsor that are a bit cheaper to live in, Dedworth for example.  Don't go anywhere near Slough though.  Trust me.

  2. It's a lovely part of the world to live as long as you're not actually in Slough which is right next to Windsor but world's apart in terms of niceness (it's a hole).  Windsor is very posh and home to the most prestigious school - Eton for boys as well as home to the Queen (Windsor Castle).  It has Legoland and the racecourse and lots of private schools.  It's green and country-feeling with rivers etc.  If you can afford it and dont' mind the commute into London to work then it will be great.

  3. yes

  4. I say ol boy, Windsey, as us locals would perchance to say, is a blooming simply marvelous place for all kinds of frollicking and capers. I t is not quite so upmarket nowadays mind you , as local government has simply let the side down just a trifle , due to an influctuation of other riff-raff coming into the area. Of course we wouldn,t really care too much about this as from our grounds we can,t see too much as we have now built a moat and battlements around the estate so we dont have to wander outside too much. I know that there is a socialable evening or 2 , when the womens guild bring about cakes and frivolity on a friday evening and some saturdays , theres even a bit of dickyback riding in the study. So ol chap do come to windsy and see for yourself.. simply marvelous...

  5. It's a nice place to live in and it's a bit too pricey!

its got feilds...........near town- little rides, rollershating bit+ more

  7. Yes, very nice. Great scenery, nice houses (very expensive). Locals are warm and nice. Very close to London and Heathrow airport.
