  1. Does wisdom exist?  If so, then the concept we hold of what wisdom is...must also exist.

So there you have it - wisdom is a universal.

  2. a universal what?

  3. A universal is defined as "that which may be predicated of many." That means "flat surface" is a universal predicate of "table."

It means "rational animal" is the universal of Man.

Universals are sometimes called "genera." Those things which distinguish one item in a "genera" from others in that "genera" are called "differentia."

Thus, the genus "Homo" contains only Man as the differentia because we are the only species of "Homo."

In the universal description called "Pan" we have both "Chimpanzees" and "Bonobos" as differentia.

Wisdom is not a universal of "all men," but it is a universal of "some men." So you would have a genera called "Man," with two differentia, "Wise" and "Not Wise."

  4. Universal Wisdom is what keeps Universe rolling....

Personal Wisdom is what we, humans, desire to get in order to manage our thoughts, feelings, even practicalities of our life,  as better.
