Is woodlands cool?

have this debate in school.. want to know about what most people think about woodlands so i can work more on it. thanks if you answer!!

A woodland or forest is the most diverse natural land environment on the planet. It supports literally many thousands of species, including humans. Also these ecosystems sequester carbon, thus prevent CO2 entering the atmosphere in excess quantities. The list of benefits are endless and you could spend hours researching, but the most useful are listed below.
