Further, Workers Comp is not taxable.  Unemployment Comp IS taxable at the Federal level.  Some states tax it and others do not.

Worker's compensation is what you receive if you are hurt while working. Unemployment compensation is what you receive if you no longer have a job, and are looking for a new job.
