  1. No.  Unemployment would cover if you were fired.  Workers Comp is if you get injured on the job.


  2. No. Workers Comp is for when you get inured on the job.

  4. No, they are totally different.  Workers Comp is paid if you are injured on the job.  Unemployment Comp is paid if you lose your job through no fault of your own.

    Further, Workers Comp is not taxable.  Unemployment Comp IS taxable at the Federal level.  Some states tax it and others do not.

  5. Worker's compensation is what you receive if you are hurt while working. Unemployment compensation is what you receive if you no longer have a job, and are looking for a new job.
